Biography
 
   Dave has been strumming the guitar for almost 50 years.
 He is originally from New Orleans and moved to the Chicago area in 1988. After working for 10 years as a health inspector for the State of Louisiana, he decided to take a job with the Cook County Department of Public Health as a program manager. He lives with his wife, Mary, and son, Zach in Geneva, Illinois. Geneva is host to one of the largest folk festivals in the mid-west and Dave is a member of the organization that puts on the festival.
 
  He plays a wide variety of music from folk, country, rock, and oldies. In addition, you can hear him singing any one of a number of children's songs, when there are kids in the house.
 
   In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina flooded his home town, his brother decided to move here. Steven Rohbock is a professional piano player. You can catch him on Sundays at noon playing at Heaven on Seven in Naperville.
